The Nasdaq having a good day, gaining 2%

Today's muted price action is occurring amid mixed market indicators – following a previous reading of 0%, Producer Price Index in United States released today at 12:30 UTC fell short of the 0.1% figure expected by analysts with an actual reading of -0.5%.

The Nasdaq | +2% in mid-session

Nasdaq went up to 12,170 only to drop back some of the way and is now trading at 12,169.

The S&P 500 | +1.31% in mid-session

While yesterday ended at 4,092, today, the S&P rallied above 4,146 for the first time in 8 weeks and gained 53.41 points — now trading at 4,145.41. The past 6 months have been positive for the S&P 500 as it appreciated 14.95%, having traded as low as 3,577.

CAC | +1.13% in mid-session

CAC 40 hit a significant low of 15.42 around 6 months ago, but has since recovered 47,870%.
