(Sep) came out at 909 billion, while a consensus of analysts was expecting 235 billion. Fresh BRC Retail Sales Monitor (YoY) (Oct) data from United Kingdom came out at 1.2.
In the meantime, negative performances are also seen in other pairs as after ending yesterday's session at 1.1542, GBP/USD lost 92 pips and is trading around 1.145. GBP/CAD is trading around 1.54 (down 113 pips).
Though Pound-Yen has been dropping, other pairs have been performing better: EUR/GBP gained 0.64% and is now trading at 0.8779.
