The Thanksgiving holiday means US markets are closed up until today. In the last trading session before Thanksgiving, crypto markets are up — Nasdaq gained 0.99% and closed at 11,300. S&P 500 ended the session at 4,027.26 after a 0.59% gain.
US traders are set to return to their desks today. Meanwhile, elsewhere in equities, Asia-Pacific markets are currently mixed so far this session. Upbeat European markets ended yesterday higher as DAX rises to 14,540 (up 0.78%).
Uptick coincides with some positive signs published earlier as United States Core Durable Goods Orders improved upon its previous reading of -0.9% with a new data release of 0.5%.
On a negative note, the market received some disappointing news as United States Crude Oil Inventories released earlier showed a marked improvement to -3.69 million from the preceding data of -5.4 million, but fell short of the -1 million figure forecast by a consensus of market analysts.
Today's rise takes place amid mixed market indicators — United States New Home Sales (Oct) came out at 632,000, while a consensus of analysts was expecting 570,000.
While most stocks did well Wednesday, some did better than others as FTX Token trades at $1.41 having gained 2.78%. XRP (up 3.56%) is also performing well.
Wednesday's bullishness contained stock stragglers as ADA closed at $0.31 having dropped 1.85%.

Bucking the trend and turning lower, Ripple drops $0.005 early on and steadies around the $0.395 level. XRP has a market cap of 19.86 billion with an average daily volume of 9.95 million.

Now turning against its recent performance, Cardano slides down from $0.316 to $0.31 today, losing $0.006 (1.85%). ADA is currently trading with a market cap of 10.67 billion with an average daily volume of 94.59 million.
