Yesterday's trading session saw to it that leading equity indices in the US rose as Nasdaq gained 0.63% and closed at 11,467. S&P 500 ended the session at 3,982.24 after a 0.31% gain.
US markets are set to open today in around a hour. In the meantime, European markets are in session with varied performances. Upbeat Asia-Pacific markets ended today higher as ASX 200 is up by 0.47%, hitting 7,258.4.
Vimeo, Inc. and Li Auto Inc. have released their earnings reports with Thor Industries, Inc. and Tremor International Ltd are set to publish their respective reports as scheduled.
Uptick coincides with some positive signs published earlier as highly important Pending Home Sales data from United States beat analyst expectations of 1% with a reading of 8.1%. United States Core Durable Goods Orders beat the 0.1% projections, with 0.7%.
Today's rise takes place amid mixed market indicators — United States Core Durable Goods Orders fell short of the -4% projections, with new data of -4.5%.
Yesterday's gains have given market bulls further impetus to expect strong macro data going forward, such as United States Consumer Confidence is projected to outperform its last figure with 108.5. It previously stood at 107.1; data will be released today at 15:00 UTC.
Also worthy of note, tomorrow at 15:30 UTC data for United States Crude Oil Inventories will be released, with an expected decline to 440,000 from the preceding figure of 7.65 million. As things stand, upcoming United States Initial Jobless Claims data is projected to fall short of market expectations with newly published data of 195,000, following on from the preceding figure of 192,000. New data is set to be published Thursday.
While most assets did well yesterday, some did better than others as EOS trades at $1.17 having gained 3.47%. FTX (up 2.58%) is also performing well.
Yesterday's bullishness contained stragglers as Uniswap closed at $6.43 having dropped 2.98%.
