Looking ahead, ongoing depreciation may be prolonged as as things stand, upcoming United States Non Farm Payrolls data is projected to fall short of market expectations with newly published data of 200,000, following on from the preceding figure of 263,000. New data is set to be published Friday.
Some optimism can drawn from the fact that United States Crude Oil Inventories is projected to outperform its last figure with 2.23 million, having previously been at 718,000. The figure will be published tomorrow at 16:00 UTC.
Furthermore, United States ADP Nonfarm Employment Change (Dec) is scheduled for tomorrow at 13:15 UTC.
While markets are generally down so far today, some stocks outperformed such as Vanguard Mortgage-Backed Securities ETF gained 0.75% to reach $45.86.
