Ambiguous macro data is influencing the market as United States Existing Home Sales (Oct) released today at 15:00 UTC with a figure of 4.43 million, while the previous figure was 4.71 million. United States Philadelphia Fed Manufacturing Index (Nov) came out at -19.4, while a consensus of analysts was expecting -6.2. Data for United States Initial Jobless Claims published yesterday at 13:30 UTC came out at 222,000, beating projections of 225,000 and showing improvement over the preceding figure of 226,000.
Despite lacklustre price action, some stocks are lagging behind their peers as Direxion Daily FTSE China Bull 3X Shares is currently trading at $36.25 after declining 9.73%. KraneShares CSI China Internet ETF (down 4.36%) has also underperformed today.
IShares Trust – iShares iBonds Dec 2021 Term Treasury ETF has been pretty quiet for the last a month, trading mostly flat and moving by only 0.02 cents on average.
