Markets are trading lower today despite some positive data published earlier as highly important Crude Oil Inventories data from United States beat analyst expectations of -3.60 million with a reading of 10.23 million.
While price action maintains a negative bias, United States Interest Rate came out at 4.5, while a consensus of analysts was expecting 4.5. United States Consumer Price Index released Tuesday with a figure of 0.1%, while the previous figure was 0.4%.
Looking ahead, ongoing depreciation may be prolonged as as things stand, upcoming United States Retail Sales data is projected to fall short of market expectations with newly published data of -0.1%, following on from the preceding figure of 1.3%. New data is set to be published today at 13:30 UTC. United States Core Retail Sales expected to decline to 0.2% while its preceding data was 1.3%, data will be available today at 13:30 UTC.
Furthermore, United States Philadelphia Fed Manufacturing Index (Dec) will be released today at 13:30 UTC.
Yesterday's bearishness meant that ProShares Ultra Bloomberg Natural Gas lost 16.5% yesterday before closing at $34.72. United States Natural Gas Fund LP (down 8.46%), iShares Trust – iShares iBonds Dec 2021 Term Treasury ETF (down 0.039%) also underperformed yesterday.
