While markets were generally sideways yesterday, these stocks pulled ahead as Markel Corporation up 1.82% trading at $1,305.
Despite lacklustre price action, some stocks lagged behind their peers as Albemarle lost 3.9% yesterday before closing at $272.82. IronSource had a negative day yesterday (down 3.18%).
Yesterday's slide leaves Albemarle traders hoping for a bounce
After ending Wednesday at $283.9, Albemarle Corp dropped to $266.71 early in yesterday's session and closed at $272.82. In total, it lost 3.9%. The company has a market cap of $31.96 billion with an average daily volume of 1.53 million shares. So far in 2022 it has been beating the S&P 500 by 33.72%.
Daily trading volume (12 million shares) increased, making up 138% of the 21-day average (8.70 million).
